One of my most fashionable and gorgeous friends Lauren is always finding the cutest things at boutiques, and the best accesories at different shops. Laur is one of my go to fashionistas when I'm looking to discuss new trends. She also has visited California a bunch of times and I'm super jealous of all her cute finds there. This weekend her outfit out was a mint forever 21 top, tied at the bottom, with gray J brand skinny jeans & a gold pair of strapped sandals. Such a great combo! Pray for Boston

This week has been one of the worst weeks for everyone in Boston. These attacks have affected all my friends and myself this week and currently we are in lockdown awaiting the capture of the 2nd bomber. Marathon Monday has always been one of the best days of the year for everyone at Lasell College and the existing fans and runners around the city of Boston. After watching the amazing runners and cheering them on all morning on April 15, just like every other year, I am deeply saddened to know a lot of those runners are injured and traumatized. Currently we are all safe, and I've been glued to the TV since 6am. Ive lived in Boston for 5 years now, and it's so sad, scary and unreal that this is all happening to this amazing city. I love Boston and it will always be my home. Please fellow fashionistas, say a prayer that they catch this suspect and all the families of the marathon are brought to justice. Boston pride. Boston strong.

Sunday Brunch Couture

Today I want to my cousins bridal shower, with C :) I bought my outfit last minute yesterday! My shoes are black wedges by Chinese Laundry. My sheer olive green dress & Rachel Zoe inspired tassel necklace are both from Joyce Leslie. I'm also including a picture of the maid of honor, Jenny in her gorgeous statement necklace from Macy's & a super chic candy buffet set up done by Perfectly Posh Event Planners Llc (Cheshire CT). Cupcakes also so cute! - made by Sugar Bakery in East Haven CT (winners of cupcake wars on the food network channel). My favorite part about Sunday brunches are mimosas ;)
